Chhattisgarh Eye Hospital
The Institution (Chhattisgarh Eye Hospital) is a registered charitable society. It was started in the year 1977 by Dr.Vijay Mehra. It has it’s own building at Telibandha Raipur. The aim of this Hospital is to treat people at no profit no loss basis. So, far hospital has treated 10,55,775 patients and has at restored sight to 1,11,574 patients. Out, of this 60% work is free of cost. The institution has 10 research paper to its credit The first epidemiological study of incidence of cataract blindness was conducted by Dr.Vijay Mehra. Chhattisgarh Eye Hospital Raipur in colloboration with international center of Eye Health London which said that 3.8 million go blind every year due to cataract . Keeping this in mind many international and national programme have been planned..
Donations
A small contribution of Rs 3000 or $60 is made to the organization then you are a part to give vision to the blind. Your contribution is preventing blindness will be a great effort for the blind person to see the world.
Your kind donation towards our group of hospitals will be utilized for the eye care services for poor and needy, underprivileged patients residing in rural areas of Chhattisgarh etc, researching eye disease treatment strategies or for setting up new facilities at the hospital.
You could make the one-time contribution or pledge long-term support for any other eye care services. You can specify a person or organization in whose name you wish to sponsor these services. We will be happy to acknowledge your support by naming the program or facility after you.

Mission & Vision
Mission– To eradicate the preventable and avoidable cause of blindness from the country by 2023.
Vision – We believe that if a necessary blind person is left blind due to lack of facilities or awareness or financial reason then we are adding a blinding year to him and unproductive year to our country.
